Updated 5/16/2018: We’ve recently (almost) confirmed that the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas will rebrand and become the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas this fall. Mandarin Oriental will cease management of the hotel on August 30th. Hilton will begin management of the hotel and resort on September 1st. And we are expecting an announcement later this week that the property will become the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas.

It’s recently been reported that the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has received notice to terminate it’s management agreement for Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas. And they will cease management of the hotel on August 30th. The termination coincides with the recent sale of the Las Vegas Strip Hotel/Resort.
Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas Rebranding….Joining Curio Collection?
And we’ve heard from good sources that it’s looking increasingly likely that the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas will be rebranding. Not only rebranding, but rebranding and joining Hilton’s Curio Collection.
Yes, we are definitely excited about the idea. We love Curio Collection. And the Mandarin Oriental property in Las Vegas would be a welcome addition. After all, the Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas is one of only 13 properties around the world to have received the Triple Forbes Five Star Award.
