Our Favorite Coffee Shops - Vancouver (BC) Edition

Vancouver was a lot like Seattle and had a great food and coffee scene. While we were only in Vancouver for a couple of days, we definitely took time to enjoy coffee and lattes and found several delicious coffee shops. Putting together our favorite coffee shops - Vancouver edition makes us want to travel to more cities just so we can have an excuse to drink coffee.

Coffee Shops - Vancouver

1. Timbertrain Coffee Roasters

Timbertrain Coffee Roasters is located in the Gastown neighborhood of Vancouver. They serve up locally roasted coffee, espresso drinks, pastries & waffles in a hip, train-themed space. And the coffee/espresso is delicious!

2. Revolver

Revolver is also located in Gastown. Their mission is about two things: Coffee, and the experience that should go with it. They serve up coffee and espresso drinks from a rotating menu of their favorite coffees from world class roasters from North America and beyond. You'll also find jars filled with delicious looking cookies and pastries and an overall hip yet relaxed coffee shop experience. Revolver gets crowded, but it's worth a visit.

3. Medina Cafe

Medina Cafe serves up coffee and lattes to go, but you'll want to stay and eat. This place is probably one of the most popular (and best) brunch spots in Vancouver. They not only serve up Mediterranean-inspired cuisine but also delicious connoisseur-savvy coffee and espresso drinks. Medina also serves up the best Belgian style waffles in Vancouver (with dozens of toppings you can choose from).

So on a rainy day (or even a sunny day), take a break from exploring Vancouver and enjoy a latte from one of these delicious coffee shops. And if you haven't had a chance, we would encourage you to take a look at our favorite coffee shops in Victoria (BC), Chicago and Phoenix.
