Our Favorite Pet Friendly Resorts
February 20th is #NationalLoveYourPetDay. And Madi is our life. And we love bringing Madi with us on our trips. So in honor of National Love Your Pet Day, here are some of our favorite pet friendly resorts.
Andaz Scottsdale
We visit the Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows several times a year. It’s one of our favorite spots for a long, relaxing weekend. And of course on these relaxing weekends, we couldn’t leave Madi at home. And the Andaz Scottsdale is very pet friendly. And the staff loves seeing your four legged friends. Plus, the room is always ready for Madi’s arrival with food & water bowls, a bed, treats and of course poop bags.
Pet fees at the Andaz Scottsdale are $150 per stay.
Park Hyatt Aviara
Madi loves California. We aren’t kidding. We mention “Californication” and she starts running in circles. So when we spent Christmas at the Park Hyatt Aviara, Madi loved soaking up the sunshine. We took walks around the beautiful resort, took pictures with the beautiful Christmas tree in the lobby and played fetch for hours. The Park Hyatt Aviara greeted us with a pet fed, food & water bowls and has poop bag stations around the resort. And the staff couldn’t get enough Madi. And she was more than happy to say hi and give them kisses.
Plus there are numerous dog beaches within minutes of the resort. And Madi loves playing on the beach!
The Park Hyatt Aviara charges a non-refundable one-time cleaning fee of $150 per stay.
Andaz San DIego
Normally when we visit Southern California, we at least stop in for a night or two at the Andaz San Diego. We personally love the hotel, love the rooftop pool and you can’t beat the location in the middle of Gaslamp. And Madi loves it. She loves lounging by the pool and soaking up the sunshine, plus of course the room is always ready with a comfortable pet fed, food & water bowls and bottled water for her.
And…..the Andaz San Diego doesn’t charge a pet fee. So of course we are going to bring her with us!
So next time you are traveling and think about leaving your four legged friend at home, just remember these hotels and resorts are more than willing to accommodate you and your furry friend.
And when you book your stay at any of the hotels and resorts with Virtual Travel Gurus, you’ll get extras like a room upgrade and daily breakfast.
