As 2017 is coming to a close and we are about to kick off 2018, we wanted to take time to look back on 2017. But, where do we even begin!? This past year turned out to be incredible with so many adventures and memories. We started the year off watching fireworks on New Years in Sydney, Australia on our honeymoon.

We have so many things to be thankful for this year. Our philosophy in life is "work hard, play hard" and that is exactly what we do. A few quick highlights and milestones that happened as we look back on 2017.

After making a pretty big life decision to move away from Nick's home town, we moved to Boise in June of 2016. So this year marked a year in our new city. We bought our first house here in the Treasure Valley in March. Its a cute modern Farmhouse that is inspired by yours truly, Joanna Gaines.

We had the opportunity to celebrate Brandon's BIG 30th by taking a last minute trip to Seattle back in March. We had an incredible time, we ate lots of great food, drank countless amounts of great coffee--including a stop at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room.

Let's talk planes, trains and automobiles...We have been globe trotting this year and have big plans for 2018.

We have been on an airplane for 5 days, 1 hour and 42 mins
Our longest flight was from Brisbane to LAX totaling 7,162 miles and 14 hours and 49 mins.
Our shortest flight was from Vancouver to Seattle totaling 97 miles and 41 mins.

In September we celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary. We were supposed to visit Puerto Rico where we had the opportunity to visit back in May (and fell in love with the island and the people). But hurricanes Maria and Irma made that impossible. As long as we are together any adventure will be fun. So we ended up visiting Miami and Miami Beach instead.

On December 27th we will be celebrating being a couple for five years! So what better way to celebrate than to take a trip to Palm Springs, California and be in San Diego for New Years.
